Show Your Hamper Contents How to Prepare and Upload Photographs
If you have a cherished photo that you’d like us to print onto the lid of your box, once you’ve chosen your box and have arrived at Step 2, ‘Personalise yourhamper’, you can click the ‘Browse’ button next to the Photo Upload box to select your photo from your computer’s hard drive. We’ll upload your photo to the site and in the next step you’ll get the opportunity to add your personalised message to it.
For best results, we recommend that your image is 2000 x 2000 pixels and has a resolution of no less than 150 dpi. If your image is larger than 2000 x 2000, we’ll automatically resize it to fit our lids or tags, but if images are smaller we can’t enlarge them as they’ll look stretched and blurry, so we’ll show you how they’ll look in our preview.
Try and make sure that your image is more than 150 dpi as otherwise when printed it will appear ‘grainy’. Unfortunately we won’t be able to show this in our preview though.
If you’re using Windows you can check the dpi or pixel size of your image by locating it on your hard drive through ‘My Computer’ or Windows Explorer and right clicking on the image. Click ‘Properties’, then choose the ‘Summary’ tab and click ‘Advanced >>’. This will display a list of the image properties, including width, height, horizontal and vertical resolution. Providing the resolution figures are higher than 150, your image will appear sharp and clear when we print it onto the lid of your box, or hamper tag.
